Productivity

We constitute for customer success, to enrich lives for the future. We simplify Productivity as “the quality or authenticity with which products, services can be created, developed, enhanced, or brought about”. Productivity definitions and goals depend on the industry. Some industries have already established basic definitions.

How we tend to look at productivity today is a little different. When it’s a move to get things done, it’s like it’s a little off track. It’s not just a measure of output anymore – it’s the idea of digging out every output we can from a single day. It’s about doing more work in reducing the time by implementing advanced techniques.

Safety

Industries should focus on employee safety improvement planning as a prerequisite for effective co-operation rather than legal compliance. It is imperative to spread awareness about occupational health risks among working people.They need to be aware of the long-term harmful effects of the environment in which they work and what precautions can be taken to mitigate these effects. Awareness is also very lacking among employees of industries in emerging economies. But creating awareness alone cannot stop things. It should be followed by practice.

Innovation

Innovation is “an incessant process, involving small and big initiatives in customary business. From a new way to marketplace a product on a shop shelf to shaping a digital consumer-engagement platform”.

With traditional approaches and conventional methods, you will often find yourself nowhere in the field of innovation. Continue to challenge the status quo! Explore new paths from the affected path.
Collect ideas everywhere. Innovation projects constantly need new ideas: to overcome obstacles, to change ideas, and to improve strategies.

History of SPC

The council has been providing services to the Industry and Trade in Salem under the guidance and leaderships of eminent citizens of Salem as the presidents in the past 61 Yrs.

We organise In plant Training Programmes and Recommend persons to NPC to take part in seminars / Conference, sponsored by APO

Consultancy

SPC Offers consultancy services and has qualified consultants and industrial engineers to conduct Project surveys and implements schemes

Seminars

The council organizes seminars on current affairs; which provides a common forum between employer and employees for better understanding.

Networking

SPC works closely with apex Industrial associations inncluding SADISSTIA, TANSTIA & also has links with other NPC organizations.
